Good post, Matthew. I understand that leadership is more than just management. It involves leading by example, and being a transformational leader who inspires change and innovation. It requires good people skills and the ability to develop human relationships. As a leader, I aim to be ethical and moral, and to understand how psychological dynamics of group behavior play a role in subordinates choosing to follow my leadership.

The difference between management and leadership is crucial in the public sector, as leaders who lead by example and set good moral and ethical standards will find it easier to implement new policies and bring about positive change.
